Continuing Site Maintenance

Some anti-spam implementations have been put in place for the site, as well as some major upgrades. Some more security features are to be put in place as well, so expect a few more changes.

I am now going to start to clear out the hundreds of spammed accounts, which obviously will take some time. If you find your account accidentally deleted, please let one of us know via email or signing up for another account and posting in our forums. I have backups of all the databases, and can restore your account.

K-2 Site Overhaul

Over the next couple of weeks I will be trying to put the site through an overhaul.

This will probably include cosmetic changes as well as updates and improved security (you can see the need for that with all the spammers we have in the forums!).

Please bear with any funny stuff happening in the near future. I''ll try and make it as smooth as possible, but as always there will probably the odd glitch or two. I''ll also be trying my best to preserve the content as it is.

Left 4 Dead Servers Now Online!

We currently have a couple of Left 4 Dead servers running. One for campaign and one for Versus, thanks to our own member Gourdo. They''re currently run privately through our K-2 steam group. If you''re already a member, you''re set and it should be up for you. However, if you''re not, please hop on our forums and contact Evil Merlin or Gourdmasher and we''ll get an invite sent your way over steam. K-2 is also currently going through a transition period where we may be starting a Left 4 Dead team if play picks up until we move on into the future of league gaming. Thanks for supporting still.

Sorry for the downtime

The K-2 site was down over the weekend with our domain expiring. Sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused. We''re now renewed for another year of fun. Now that I know the date of expiration for our domain, I can inform the people(or PERSON!) in charge of that ahead of time to make sure it''s paid up, therefore stopping anymore delays in the future.

We''ll miss you Gourd!

A dear member of ours will be gone for three weeks starting today. He will be on a trip to Europe, and his wisdom and humor will definitely be missed. Have a safe trip and a great time, we''ll definitely be awaiting your return and all the stories you''ll have to tell us. See you at the end of the month.

Leagues starting

Here we go all the leagues have started back up and we are ready to kick someass. We are also recruiting. You will get playing time since we do have 2 teams in each IGL and TPG leagues.

Which game should K-2 move onto after DoD?

So with Day of Defeat not as popular as it once was, there will come a day where we will have to move on as a clan. Some people still need to update, and others still aren''t letting go of the DoD community, but once that day does come, which way should we head? Take a second and vote in our survery.
